Rae moved to Southwest Florida in 1998, relocating here with her family from Canada. Before joining the Blue Zones Project team, Rae worked in Parks and Recreation in Collier County doing program coordination. She spent two years in Minnesota, playing collegiate soccer, before completing the remainder of her education at Florida Gulf Coast University
Rae has always had a passion for helping others, and believes that The Blue Zones Project is a great opportunity for members of the community to get involved. She serves as a Volunteer coordinator for the SWFL team as well as the Project Manager.
In her free time Rae enjoys serving as a volunteer youth soccer coach, spending time with her family and friends, and doing outdoor activities in the beautiful Florida sunshine. She feels very lucky to be helping her community become a happier, healthier, and safer place.
